We meet at the Heathside Brewers Fayre Pub, Brighton Road, Tadworth, Surrey, U.K., 8pm onwards. On the first Wednesday of the month (except in January). There is a full menu available at very reasonable prices. So why not join us for a Pie and a Pint?

As always this has become one of the clubs main events and the first real show of the season, With our stand in the grounds of the show and a range of new buggies in the line up. this year is shaping up to be great already! Look out for our Blue marquee and SDBC flag flying, Come down and meet the team behind the club and its other members, always willing to talk buggies and help with any problmes or questions you may have. See you there. Anyone who is seriously interested in displaying their Buggy needs to email the treasurer, with a few pictures and state what days they can do. Most importantly you need include your membership number. The buggy owners will be contacted a few weeks before the show with the finer details. But the incentive is Free entry.
WHEELS DAY 6th April.
Wheels Day Rushmoor Arena, Farnborough
You name it and hopefully it will be there. Rods, customs, bikes, dragsters, classics, commercials, military, pedal cars anything with wheels that is show worthy (entry by gate personnel’s discretion). Not much in the way of freebees (as yet) this year but the cost has been held for yet another year at £5.00 with OAPs and children free. Incredibly fine weather has been ordered so you are advised to wear Bermuda shorts, sombrero and sunglasses. “T” shirts will be available in the SSR hospitality tent.

Now in its seventh year this local show just gets bigger and better, This essex show has a great feel to it, and we have more buggies each year. There is camping available if you wish to stay, or just turn up on the day. If you want to enter the show and shine / club parking please contact sam so we can get an idea of numbers, And you could win the trophy for Best Alternative Aircooled (Buggys, Kits, Bajas, Trekkers etc…) Lets see if we can get more than the 22 buggies from last year!!!!!!

Great little show last year and hopefully bigger a better this year, hoping to have a buggy parking area (like stansted) if anyone is interested then say so and come along. Some are staying sat night if you wish, main buggy day will be sat, with prize for best buggy
PADDLE ROUND THE PIER. 7th -8th July 2012

The Paddle has something to offer everyone whether you like the water or not as further events have now been added to both land and sea. There is so much fabulous- free-fun to be had the whole weekend, along with a huge amount of quality prizes on offer. The watersports industry has realised what a great event this is – enabling us to develop the Paddle Village into an industry trade fair where you can pick up a bargain alongside exhibitions of the latest hardware. This years Paddle is jammed-packed with even more events like old favourites the Paddle Something Unusual and many new additions like the skate ramps and BMX competitions.
SDBC Club Picnic

We have arranged designated club camping on the night of 2 June 2012, a cruise to Southend on Sea the evening of the 2 June 2012 and a Prizegiving session on Sunday 3 June.
Barleylands has also offered us discounted tickets into the farm park at £5 per person payable in advance. Check out Barleylands.co.uk for the details on the farm park.
We also have use of their off road track for those of you who like to get dirty, but seeing as we have use of showers and toilets there is no excuse not to have fun and get dirty.
The craft village offers a variety of different outlets from glassblowing to embroidery shops. There really is something for everyone. There is also the Magic Mushroom restaurant, although quite pricey the food is delicious, there are also tea rooms and various refreshment shops in the craft village.
Locally there is a large Tesco and Sainsbury so no worries if you forget anything. There is also a McDonalds and KFC close by.
The cost per camping plot is £15.50 for club members or £20.50 for non members
The toilets and showers are available 24hours a day.

The off road course will be payable on the weekend and will attract a small cost per vehicle payable direct to Barleylands on the weekend

Its back again due to the phenomal success it has been over the past 4 years. This is a great 3 or 4 day getaway where all your troubles seem to be a distant memory. Camping on the loacl football picth, fancy dress for the grand carnival.

Is the ultimate VDUB show by the beach due to our amazing location on Southsea Common in the heart of the seafront. As you can walk on and off the site all day and make the most of all the local attractions including the beach, we always attract plenty of enthusiasts, clubs, and general public. The show is unique as it’s free to the walk on public who come on mass attracted by the amazing displays. Run on a Not4Profit basis our show is a fantastic celebration of all things VDUB and we look forward to bringing you another memorable show in true BeachBuggin’ style. Gates 9am – 5pm
ACE CAFE DAY AND LONDON RUN 22nd September 2012

After not having a ace run last year, we are looking at bringing this back, Dates and times are now confirmed. Check back for further details. There will be a cruise through London to take in the sites our capital has to offer. These are likely to be Olympic Park, Canary Wharf, Tower of London, Trafalger Sq, Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch. This is likely to start on the East side of London around 10am.
